Park Ji Sung, better known by his stage name Jisung is a South Korean rapper, singer and dancer. He is a member of the boy group NCT and its unit NCT DREAM.
Park Ji-sung was born in Mia-dong, Gangbuk-gu, Seoul. He grew up in Seoul and studied at Seoul Mia Elementary School.
He also lived in Busan for 3-4 years. Jisung became a trainee under SM Entertainment in 2013, at the age of 11.
He started his career as a child actor, starring in various commercials. He was also a child model for clothing brands. In 2012 he was part of the movie 'Boys, be Curious' and starred in the movie 'Go, Stop, Murder' as Jeong-won, released on July 21, 2013. In May 2013, he appeared on MBC's Music Gangnam Feel Dance. Jisung was introduced as a member of SM Rookies on December 16 with Mark and Hansol.
He appeared on EXO 90:2014, a reality TV show starring EXO and members of NCT which was aired on Mnet. The show featured performances and music video recreation of the most popular K-pop songs in the 1990s & early 2000s.
In July 2015, he was selected as a Mouseketeer in the The Mickey Mouse Club alongside Mark, Jeno, Haechan and Jaemin. He also had an appearance on Yunho's music video Champagne.
On August 19, 2016, he was introduced as the first member of the NCT sub-unit, NCT Dream. He made his debut alongside Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, and Chenle with the digital single "Chewing Gum" on August 24, 2016.
He had an appearance on NCT 127's music video Switch released in December 2016.
Jisung made his first comeback on February 9, 2017, when NCT Dream released their first single album called "The First" which contained "My First and Last" with its Chinese version as with "Dunk Shot", the second song on the single.
In April 2018, Jisung joined the cast of the show Why Not? The Dancer. In August of the same year, it was revealed that the singer had joined the cast of KBS's Dancing High. On November 13, he released the song "Best Day Ever", in collaboration with Haechan and Chenle, for the soundtrack of the Netflix animated series Trolls: The Beat Goes On.
In November 2020, Jisung made his NCT U debut with the song "Work It," released on the 27th, although he was unable to participate in broadcast performances due to his knee injury. Also, he participated in 4 songs throughout the album "Resonance Pt.1 and Pt.2", being "Work it" the only one that has a music video.
