Kim Jung-woo referred to as Jungwoo is a South Korean singer and dancer born in Sanbon-dong, Gunpo-si, Gyeonggi-do on February 19, 1998 and grew up in Gimpo-si, Gyeonggi-do. He is the main vocalist and the lead dancer of NCT U, and the lead vocalist and lead dancer of NCT 127.

Jungwoo made his debut with the sub-unit NCT U on February 19, 2018 with the units first full album, NCT Empathy's title song, Boss.

On October 12, 2018 he made his second debut with the sub-unit NCT 127 and their first full album, NCT #127 Regular-Irregular.

On August 16, 2019 Jungwoo went on a 5 month hiatis due to health issues but returned to promotions on March 6, 2020 and participated in the the album NCT #127 Neo Zone.
