Kim Byeong Kwan

Kim Byeong Kwan was born in Seoul, South Korea and has one brother. While in 5th grade he lived in Canada for 8 months and as a result can speak English fluently.

He was inspired to become a singer after watching Rain's 'Rainism' and told his father the next day that he wanted to pursue a career in music. Shortly after he enrolled into a dance academy (name yet to be disclosed). During his time in 'Kpop Star' Kim Byeong Kwan was in the same team as iKon's Junhoe. After being eliminated from 'Kpop Star' he entered YG Entertainment but was eliminated shortly after.

Kim Byeong Kwan attended Hanlim Multi Art School and during that time participated in several auditions but kept getting eliminated in the 3rd round. In 2014 he won the JYP's 11th audition stage and finally got his break to train with JYP until sometime in 2015. In 2017 he debuted with his current group A.C.E.

Kim Byeong Kwan previously had the stage name of 'Jason' but in May 2018 announced that he would be dropping the stage name and instead using his birth name for all occasions.
