Jun was born in Suncheon, in South Jeolla Province, South Korea. He had 3 sisters, 1 of his sisters has passed away but the remaining 2 are older than him.
While in middle school Jun watched Rain's 'Rainism' which inspired him to pursue a career in music. He found a music academy (name yet to be disclosed) and started to learn about music. When he was 19 he moved to Seoul in order to follow his musical career.
On April 13, 2017 he participated in 'I Can See Your Voice' but unfortunately didn't win his round.
It was announced on August 13, 2023 that Park Jun Hee would be changing his stage name of "Jun" to his birthname of "Park Jun Hee".
