Chittaphon Leechaiyapornkul, popularly known as Ten, was born Bangkok, Thailand.
His favorite hobby was dancing, so he tried to dance well by watching videos, his all time go to video was "Step Up 2". His parents admitted Ten in a dancing school because of his passion.
In 2011, he was a contestant of Teen Superstar, under the stage name TNT. In 2013, he was cast by SM Entertainment through the SM Global Audition 2013 in Bangkok. Ten was introduced as a member of SM Entertainment's pre-debut training team SM Rookies on December 23, 2013. In 2014, Ten and other future NCT members participated in the show Exo 90:2014, remaking K-pop songs from the 90s.
In April 2016, SM Entertainment confirmed Ten alongside other members to debut as members of NCT's first subgroup, NCT U, with the single, "The 7th Sense."
Because of an injury to his knee in 2017 he has been deemed unfit to fulfill his role in military so is exempt from doing his mandatory service.
In 2018 Ten debuted solo through SM Station season 2 with the song "New Heroes".
On December 31, 2018, it was announced that WayV, an NCT China-based boy group managed by Label V, a subsidiary of SM Entertainment, would be formed and Ten was one of the members. They officially debuted on January 17, 2019, with their debut EP The Vision and the Chinese version of NCT 127's "Regular" as its lead single.
On August 7, 2019 SM Entertainment announced that a new boy group would be forming that October. The group would be called SuperM and would be promoting in both Korea and the United States. The group consists of SHINee's Taemin, EXO members Baekhyun and Kai, and NCT members Taeyong, Mark, Ten, and Lucas
In June 2021, Ten launched a five-piece apparel collection with a direct-to-fan retailer Represent. Titled What is ??? The Answers, the collection features his original artworks.
